Originally formed in 2002 by Managing Director Tony Reilly, Food Options UK Ltd has grown rapidly in the last seven years to establish itself as Scotlands leading supplier of speciality Chilled and Frozen Foods to the Foodservice sector.

The dramatic growth of the business is based on exclusive and innovative product sourcing from over 160 suppliers throughout the UK and Europe, coupled with an aggressive new business development programme and underpinned by a first class delivery service.

In 2007 we invested 1.5M in a brand new, custom built distribution facility in Livingston as the foundation for our future expansion plans. In the two years since this facility opened the business has grown by almost 20% despite the UK Economy facing its biggest recession of the last 50 years.

The 1.5 acre site comprises a 16,000 sq ft warehouse incorporating a 10,000 sq ft Chill and 2,500 sq ft Coldstore as well as a secured yard for our own fleet of dual temperature vehicles.

In September 2007 we launched our brand new range of 300 frozen products many of which are exclusive to Food Options. The launch of frozen products has proved so successful that plans to build a new extension (in the summer of 2010) are well advanced.
